I’m Gillian. UnfussyFare is my way of sharing the recipes that were worth the effort. The ones that didn’t take too long, but still made my taste buds sit up and take note. 

Much as I love food, life outside the kitchen demands all kinds of attention. That’s why I rarely tackle recipes involving real precision, obscure kitchen implements, or too much pan washing. I’ve never been that keen on measuring when I cook, but I dusted off my measuring spoons just for you.

I cook and eat and take lots of pictures. That’s the sum total of my food-blogging qualifications. I live in Portland, Oregon. My family is perplexed by my new compulsion to photograph our food, but so far they’ve been nice about it.
